# Get context / SLM prompt (Step 4)

POST https://api.forboc.ai/npcs/{npcId}/context
Content-Type: application/json

SDK sends recalled memories from its local vector DB. API synthesizes a full SLM prompt
from persona + rules + memories + observation, with generation constraints.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

This endpoint expects a ContextRequest.

- `memories` (list of RecalledMemory, required) — Memories recalled by the SDK from its local vector DB
- `observation` (string, required) — Original observation (echoed from directive step)
- `npcState` (map from string to any, required) — Current NPC state
- `persona` (string, required) — NPC persona used to construct context
- `rulesetId` (string, optional, nullable)
